Members of our research team presented early findings at this year’s primary care research conference, sharing recruitment insights from rural practices.
Clinical research in primary care gives people the chance to access new treatments close to home, while helping to build the evidence base the NHS relies on. Every study we run is reviewed by an independent ethics committee before a single participant is enrolled.
What this means for patients
Taking part is always voluntary, and you are free to withdraw at any stage without it affecting the care you receive. If you would like to know more, our research team is happy to talk through what participation would involve.
