Faster Access to a New Lung Cancer Clinical Trial

A new clinical trial investigating a potential treatment for lung cancer was able to open to participants more quickly thanks to improvements in how research studies are set up across the UK. Faster study start-up means eligible patients can access innovative treatments sooner while researchers begin collecting important evidence without unnecessary delays.

This progress highlights how greater collaboration between the NHS, research organisations and industry is helping to speed up the delivery of high-quality clinical research. By reducing the time needed to launch studies, the UK is improving opportunities for patients to take part in research and supporting the development of new treatments for lung cancer and other serious conditions.

BRECKLAND ALLIANCE is made up of the following three GP surgeries. You do not need to be a surgery patient to take part in research with us.
