The primary objective of the trial is to determine whether the (BCG) vaccination reduces rates of moderate-severe acute exacerbations of COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) at 12 months in patients aged 18 or over who have a clinical diagnosis of COPD and a history of >exacerbations a year.
